Practical Parenting - a 6 - 12 week course focusing on parenting "basics" - discipline/limit setting, play, child development, family nutrition, early literacy, good touch/bad touch, parental stress reduction, family communication, learning right from wrong, answering tough questions (sex, drugs, and rock and roll), and sibling rivalry.
Purposeful Play Group - an ongoing, monthly early literacy & play group for families with a child 3 or under (with big siblings invited as well) that teaches parents how to really play with their children while offering time for adult discussion of parenting topics such as fears, making friends, family culture/world culture, seasonal fun, love, transportation, birthdays, managing changes, games/sports, birthdays, child development, letters/numbers, and more. Each group includes a song, story, and activity related to the discussion topic.
